Pickling Solution

For okra, cauliflower, and bread and butter pickles.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 cup Water
  • 1 Vinegar, unit missing in the original (probably 1 cup)
  • 3 tbsp Pickling spice, mustard, coriander and dill seed, laurel, chiles, allspice, cloves, bay
  • Garlic
  • Turmeric

Directions

  1. Simmer to dissolve the sugar.
